The IDF launched strikes near Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon after issuing evacuation warnings to residents, saying Hezbollah had committed repeated ceasefire violations.
According to the military, civilians were evacuated because the village lies within a security perimeter where operations could endanger them. Lebanese reports said one person was killed and at least nine others wounded in a strike near Tebnine.
The IDF said the operation followed incidents including Hezbollah’s launch of an explosive drone toward an Israeli engineering vehicle near the Ali Taher ridge. No casualties were reported in that attack.
Officials said Hezbollah continues rebuilding its presence and rearming in southern Lebanon, while the Lebanese Army remains limited in its ability to enforce the agreement or dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure.
The IDF said it will continue acting against threats to its forces and preventing Hezbollah from restoring capabilities near Israel’s northern border.
