Israeli Official Says Response to Hezbollah Violations Is Not Over

An Israeli official said the response to Hezbollah’s ceasefire violations is continuing after the IDF launched strikes near Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon.

The operation followed evacuation warnings and incidents including Hezbollah’s launch of an explosive drone toward an Israeli engineering vehicle near the Ali Taher ridge. No casualties were reported.

The IDF said it will not allow Hezbollah operatives to approach Israeli forces or rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border. Residents in northern Israel were warned that additional explosions could be heard, though Home Front Command instructions remained unchanged.

Diplomatic tensions also rose during talks between Israeli and Lebanese delegations. Israeli envoy Yechiel Leiter reportedly ended the meeting three hours early over repeated leaks from the Lebanese side.

Officials said Hezbollah continues operating in areas designated for Lebanese Army control, complicating efforts to enforce the ceasefire and prevent the group’s return.
